Overview

Organizations let you share connections and monitoring with your team and your clients. Each person you add is a member with a role that controls what they can do. This page covers inviting, re-roling and removing members; for what each role can do, see Permissions.
Team-member limits are plan-based: Free allows 1, Pro and Scale allow up to 5. See Subscription Plans.

Inviting a Member

1

Open the organization

Go to Organizations and select the one you want to add someone to.
2

Invite by email

Enter the person’s email address and pick a role.
3

They accept

The invitee receives an invitation and joins once they accept and sign in.

Roles

When inviting, choose the role that matches how the person will work in the organization: See Permissions for the exact capabilities of each.

Changing a Member’s Role

Open the member in the organization’s member list and update their role. Changes apply immediately. Only owners and admins can change roles, and an owner is required to remain on every organization.

Removing a Member

Removing a member revokes their access to that organization’s connections and data right away. It does not delete anything they created — connections and history remain with the organization.
Removing someone does not revoke API keys they generated. If a departing teammate created API keys, rotate or revoke those separately — see Authentication.

Members vs. API Keys

People are members; machines use API keys. An organization-scoped API key is the right way to give an integration access to exactly one organization without adding a human member. See Organizations in the API.
